The End of Reason

by Dr. Ravi Zacharias

Finally, there is a good book from an evangelical that sticks to its purpose and delves into all aspects of a topic and goes beyond the surface to do so.  This book by Dr. Zacharias focus point is upon Sam Harris book, Letters to Christians, and it is meant to counter the charges made by the latter towards God and christianity.

It does that and more. Well written, informative, does not insult the intelligence and provides answers to counter the atheist attack, Dr. Zacharias has provided a tool that all christians can use to help them in their daily lives.

It is too the point, does not distract from its purpose and does not run when the atheists yell nor shrink away whenthey demand their 'moral rights'. (pg. 60) As the author points out what moral rights are the atheist referring to?  They have rejected the only objective, independent morality available so where do they draw this position?

It also shows the depravity that comes from an atheistic position and a callousness towards those who are less fortunate than Dr. Harris which uncovers the very weakness of atheism.  That weakness is compriose of many facets with one being that the freedom they desire is anarchy in disguise.

Very easy to understand and there are no long, drawn out, complicated intellectual responses to the criticisms made by Sam Harris so even the least educated can grasp the truths being set forth by Dr. Zacharias.
